This week we continue our north south podcast. We discuss crowd funding, specifically the amazing results that Critical Role is getting from their Kickstarter. We talk about upcoming super hero movies, as well as some other movies that have been announced. We get into the new Ultraman cartoon that will be on Netflix. This week we continue the north-south podcast and talk a lot of TV. We get into Star Trek: Discovery (some spoilers if your aren’t caught up), the new Penny Dreadful series coming to Showtime, and the Whedonverse, specifically Buffy and Angel. We also discuss the Oscars and some big wins for nerd movies. As usual there will be other random thoughts thrown in, slainte!

This week we say goodbye to Russ for the next couple of months, as he makes his annual pilgrimage to Florida. He won’t really be gone, he’ll just be on via the internet instead of being in the basement. We talk about comic books and going digital. We discuss some of the news coming out about Bill and Ted 3. We talk Ghostbusters, old, new, and even newer. We finish things off looking at what is coming to the main streaming services in February.

We also discuss Star Trek: Discovery and its upcoming spin-off. We also talk a little bit about DC movies and the milestone that Aquaman hit. Our post Xmas, pre New Year episode. We welcome Renee back to the show. We talk about Russ’ trip to Florida and his experience at Universal Studios. We give our spoiler free first review of Aquaman. It’s the time of miracles, so be of good cheer. This week we talk about the passing of Penny Marshal. We discuss rumors of who will play the villain in the upcoming Batman movie. We dive into the rising popularity of watching shows where other people are playing paper and pencil games, like D&D. We give you a list of people providing voices for the new Netflix show, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. We wrap the show up by talking about some of our favorite holiday movies.

Episode 108 – Arrowverse And Marvel Villains is now available!!

This week the guys take on a list of the 10 Greatest Marvel Supervillains of All Time that they found on Newsarama.  They talk about the passing of former president George H.W. Bush. They discuss the upcoming Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event.  They also geek out over the new Captain Marvel trailer. All this plus the usual alcohol induced random thoughts they deliver every week.
