Episode 131 – Endgame Of Thrones is now available!!

We’re back!! After a one week break we are back to talk nerdy to you again. The name of the episode says it all. We talk Avengers: Endgame and the series finale of Game of Thrones. So much to talk about, we run on a bit for Endgame, so with limited time we discuss what we can and rush through the final Throne Watch, kind of like the final season itself.

Episode 129 – The Aftermath, is now available!

This week we talk quite a bit about the MCU, including the box office record setting pace of Avengers: Endgame, rumors of stars being targeted for upcoming MCU movies, and some of the future road map that has been released. We mention the continuing delays of The New Mutants movie. We then finish things off with the next edition of Throne Watch, and a review of the days following the “Great War” in the north.

We get Ian to tell us about LARPing and he even plays us a song he wrote for the game. We finish the episode off with Throne Watch for the third episode of season eight. We go a little long but we think it is worth it.

Episode 127 – Nothing Competes With Endgame is now available

This is the week we’ve been waiting for, the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame. That said there isn’t much else going on in the nerd news world. Seems nothing wants to try and compete for space with this juggernaut of a movie. We do find things to talk about though. We discuss the upcoming movie and talk about our favorite MCU movies from the past eleven years. We debate the correct length of time to wait before posting or talking spoilers for movies and TV shows. We finish the show with another installment of Throne Watch, where we dissect the second episode of GoT season 8.

Episode 126 – So Much To Talk About is now available!!

This week we welcome a couple of special guests, Anthony and John, who are developing a video game called Kard Fu. We discuss that, along with Star Wars news, and Critical Role’s stupendously successful Kickstarter. We also have the first installment of Throne Watch for you this week. There is also a ton of nerding out in all of the digressions from our original topics. This was a really fun episode where we just couldn’t stop talking.

Episode 125 – Welcome Back, is now available!!

Russ is back from his Florida excursion and joins us in the basement again this week. We hear about his trip home first. We then give our initial, spoiler free, thoughts on Shazam! We mention some news about the upcoming Black Widow movie, and discuss things we’ve heard about the future of the MCU after the Infinity Saga. We also talk about the Critical Role Kickstarter blowing through thier final stretch goal allowing them to produce a full season of animated shows. This week we are joined by our good friend Ed Rohn in the basement. We start off talking about the DC Universe news from Wondercon, as well as some of the movies coming out this month. Then we get into what we both love, D&D. We go a little long on this episode, but when the conversation is so good, it’s tough to stop.

Episode 123 – Goodbye To Florida is now available!

This week is the last of our yearly cross country shows, as Russ prepares to make the trek home. We talk about some remarks Zack Snyder made regarding his vision of Batman, that spark some heated words. We also talk about Captain Marvel again, this time with spoilers (you have been warned). We discuss the casting of Deathstroke and his kids for DC’s Titans season two. We get into the early reviews for Shazam! We also touch on a new comic coming from Marvel later this year, and the Critical Role Kickstarter.

Episode 122 is now available!!

This week we discuss James Gunn being rehired by Marvel/Disney, as well as him directing The Suicide Squad. We talk other DC movies, including Suicide Squad, the upcoming Flash flick, and rumors about Batman. We somehow wind up talking a bit about Batman Beyond, and the Spiderman movies. Chris provides a summary of the brewery tour/pub crawl he did last weekend, while Russ gives his opionion on Mortal Engines now that he’s watched it on Blu-ray. Near the end we answer a question we posed on our Facebook page; what video game did you spend the most money playing as a kid?

Episode 121 – Coming Soon To A TV Near You is now available!

This week we continue the cross country saga and give our first impressions on the Captain Marvel movie, spoiler free. Then we get into a discussion about a bunch of new shows that have been announced, with a few rumors thrown in, to be in the works. Several Marvel shows have been announced for Disney+, a new show being developed for Apple, as well as the return of a BBC America show on AMC. All this plus the usual train of thought derailings.
